CDL plus a few years of verifiable OTR, equipment ready, and a preference for a known fee over the paperwork of standing up an MC from scratch. The lease is the bridge between a working driver and a compliant small carrier — without slowing the first load.

Eligibility

What needs to be true before the addendum is signed.

Three things we confirm against the carrier packet. If a line is missing, the conversation is about getting it in place — not about pushing the paperwork through.

Operating experience.

A current CDL plus recent verifiable OTR experience. We confirm the experience against the carrier packet before any agreement countersigns — the lease addendum names the driver, the equipment, and the lane history.

Equipment type.

One complete tractor-trailer ready to run. Dry van, reefer, flatbed, and step deck are the typical fits — anything else, ask us before signing so the lease addendum matches the equipment on day one.

Insurance baseline.

Commercial auto liability at FMCSA minimums plus cargo. Placed directly, or coordinated through the leasing carrier’s policy; the COI ships with the carrier packet before the first load moves.

Eligibility is reconfirmed against the carrier packet at onboarding and on every renewal. Anything not on the packet is documented in the lease addendum before the first load moves.

17–18% service fee

One percentage. Written into the agreement.

The MC Lease fee covers dispatch, the leased authority, and the setup paperwork — one percentage, written into one service agreement, with the lease addendum on top.
